It's just frustrating that a show with 20 less votes than Taskmaster, on polls that were posted mere hours apart, is being given the spot. I love the Royle Family but it really isn't a show made for reaction videos.

Completely agree, Taskmaster would have been perfect, and it received 200 votes a day before a new poll was started, a poll where the winner received about 20 less votes than Taskmaster did one day previously.

Congrats Royle Family! And don't worry fellow Taskmaster voters, our time will come! Just be patient. LoG fans had to wait ages and they're really happy now! I understand people worrying that Royle Family might be not the best show for a reaction. When it was on telly, I had missed a previous night's episode, so I asked my teacher who had seen it: "what happened?". He just looked at me like I was an idiot for a few seconds before saying "...nothing?" Fair point. BUT, its a really funny, well written show, very realistic but ridiculous characters and Josh will make it a great reaction. Its why we all watch him!!

Taskmaster came second in the last poll. I'm not sure why another poll was needed, when spots were to be filled so close together. Quite disappointing. I don't dislike The Royal Family, but it would have been nice to have a bit of a change on one of the days and I think Taskmaster is a lot better format for Josh to react to.

Royale family is a slow burner but you begin to love the characters as if your in the living room with them plus everyone can relate to the characters whether its your house your nans house your aunties everyone has come across a jom before haha hopefully josh loves the show

I love the Royle Family, but it's a terrible show to react to, I really don't think people are taking into account the type of show it is, rather just picking it because it's a show they like. As I said, great show, but we'd be watching somebody watch people watch TV. Also, it's 25 episodes, isn't that a "long show"?

I think Jonathan Creek is a show you'd really enjoy, Josh! The plots are very Columbo-esque, and the series is packed with humour too. I think you'd find it really funny and have fun trying to work out each mystery. 🙏

I don't really think Royle Family will be Josh's thing. Might be wrong but its pretty specific and subtle. He struggled a bit with Phoenix Nights to get references and Royle Family will be even harder to get. Just don't see him enjoying it, you might enjoy it doesn't mean Josh will so then you won't enjoy his reaction. Got to be a bit wiser in show choice imo

I’m surprised Early Doors is so low compared to The Royle Family. The humour and atmosphere are so similar that it’s basically a spin-off. Any Royle Family fans who haven’t seen it should definitely check it out.

If there were two new shows coming so soon, I don't understand why we needed two polls. In previous polls you picked the top 4 results for the next four shows, why isn't that the case this time? 200 people voted for Taskmaster in a poll that ended today, wouldn't it make more sense for that to take the Thursday slot?

I adore The Royle Family but I do wonder how "reactable" it would be. There is no plot and no jokes as such. It might win Josh over just from the character writing and performances though so I ought not to pre-judge. It goes off the boil after The Queen of Sheba in my view, but the first three series and that special are excellent. The first two series are especially strong. 🙏

I've just tried watching Spaced because it has actors I love in it and i keep seeing it mentioned here so couldn't wait until it got voted in. I have to be honest, I'm really struggling on the first episode! For some reason I'm finding it really irritating and unfunny but like I said, it's just the first episode so I'll give it a few more but I really hope it gets better from here.
