They needed someone to play Simon's character's best friend and he said "How about my best friend" who was Nick Frost, and at that time was not an actor. The magic continued from there.

Jeffery Tambov was the sleezy comic book writer. He first got famous from staring as the dad In Arrested Development along side Jason Bateman ( the federal cop in this )

It don't matter how weird their films get, or how many twists in the plot they have, I always get that upbeat good feeling from their comedy and drama. They star in films that do what films should do, entertain you and leave you feeling good at the end.
