Status update - im tired bros 😔

since the last post on my PC troubles there have been many ups and mostly downs.
i was going to write a more detailed post but im just tired of this all so ill give you a TLDR: power supply dead motherboard dead system drive borked memory sticks idk i think one is borked (still testing those).
just finished a fresh system install and im going to catch up to whoever joined in the meantime (i saw theres been quite a few new patrons). ill make the archive main post for june in a day or two and update the archive with some stuff ive managed to finish in the meantime.
im not 100% if the PC is working fine yet as i havent been test running it long enough during the writing of this post (it seems OK so far tho).
apologies for the delays and all this nonsense, i will try to catch up on everything ive been behind on this month.

I had something similar happen with an almost brand new PC, turns out surge protector power strips are a consumable item and only good for roughly a year, or one surge. I got an UPS with surge protection to be safe afterwards

2025-06-11 11:44:44 +0000 UTCWhen I think of PC problems I always consider the mercy that I was not in the office the day they accidentally hooked my domestically powered PC up to the industrial power for the factory. All the solder was melted off the motherboard in a 5cm circle around the CPU. That PC did not have a good day. I hope your PC troubles ease, Magbo.
