Great start to a new show. I like how rude and dark Tony is. My favorite line was- I should be dead now."I didn't care. So, everything's a bonus, If I become an arsehole, and I do and say what the fuck I want for as long as I want, and then when it all gets too much, I can always kill myself. It's like a superpower lol.
I didn't realize that Kerry Godliman ( Hannah) from Derek is in this. If you told me my bad lol. I posted a picture of the cover and still didn't realize that was her.

2021-04-29 19:09:28 +0000 UTCDespite what people say about this show being unfunny or successful only to due to Gervais previous works, i’ve never seen either the Office or Derek only Idiot Abroad and i still think this show is funny and has quite nice touching moments. As for those who just say it’s bad or unfunny, i’m glad u re watching it now so you can decide for yourself 🙂 If you liked this first episode i think you’ll only like the others more. And i think you’ll find what you’re looking for as far as character interactions go.

2021-04-29 18:45:52 +0000 UTCAfter Life is Rickys best work yet for me, I know not everyone agrees. Look at his past shows, its always been 2 series and a special. (Office, Extras, Derek). Like Fawlty towers, only 2 series but all quality. The offer from Netflix must have been astronomical for him to break that habit and make a 3rd series.

For example, Tony's dad is played by David Bradley, who played the farmer with all the guns and the sea mine in Hot Fuzz (he was also in the Harry Potter movies, which you've mentioned seeing before).
