One thing I've wondered for years....Was Rimmer really a fan of the 'Om' song, or was he just being sarcastic? Obviously he didn't want Lister to get credit for the tension sheet, so he would want young Lister to keep following his dream and ignore the tension sheet. But at the same time, Rimmer's musical tastes have been shown to be incredibly bizzare and eclectic. Reggie Wilson obviously, Morris Dancing, Campfire songs, Christian Rock music and others...It is not beyond the realms of possibility that he might actually be into the Om song. Food for thought.

Has anyone talked about the availability of Red Dwarf episodes from Dave yet, Josh? The BBC gave up on the show in the late 90's, and was picked up by the Dave Channel shortly afterwards. Due to this, streaming services like Netflix generally only have the licence for the BBC episodes internationally, so you might have to do some digging to find the rest. The Dave episodes start off very ropey, but have since picked up in quality, so it's worth finding them.

There were definitely bobbleheads/headknockers, around circa 2005. I know for sure there is a 'Fearless Lister' complete with baseball bat and polymorph. I've seen it, but I don't know where you'd get it. You'd have to try Etsy/ E Bay or something.

Another random fact: the 2 guys in young Lister’s band (playing the “Om” song) were in a death metal band called Napalm Death and 2 of the members lived on the same estate where I grew up in Birmingham. They were good guys actually :)

A lot of the official merch is expensive and in short supply, so honestly unless you're feeling flush, I'd recommend Etsy. I've got lots of nice Red Dwarf stuff from sellers there.

I was actually looking at red dwarf merchandise today on ebay funnily enough, you might need to go to the UK site I'm not sure if it would be popular elsewhere

I believe Craig Charles’ real band did the music for this episode but I could be remembering that incorrectly. Yeah the merch is a bit hit and miss, but there’s stuff out there
