This was a fantastic final episode. The radio station cracked me up, especially the face he was making when he was trying to wrap his head around horse wanking lol. There were so many great moments in this episode. Alan talking to the builders about his junk, Alan fantasizing about his girl, then cupping his junk, him telling ole boy to fuck off three times lol to name a few.

2021-02-02 23:47:34 +0000 UTCThis has been so much fun to watch! I hadn't seen this series before, but I remembered loving Knowing Me Knowing You as a kid and knew this one would be great. Such a memorable character! I love the little hints throughout the series that he's always just a nudge away from losing it, and this episode really delivered. No wonder Lynn can be so uneasy around Alan, he's scary sometimes! Fantastic dark comedy.

2021-02-02 22:48:20 +0000 UTCSteve Coogan would go on to release an official Alan Partridge autobiography (and audiobook), he went on a chat show in character to plug the book which also had Ewan McGregor (Obi Wan) on the same night. In his usual Alan Partridge awkwardness, he told Ewan that he actually liked the prequel films better than the originals, and that he was probably the only person in the world that thought so.... The funny thing is Josh still doesn't know what it was that got Alan fired from television....

Coogan & Brydon have also done a few programmes together

Not as bad an episode as I remember. May put a vote in for “This Time” on the poll for Monday’s. Not as good, but Think I may get Alan withdrawal Symptoms. 🙂
