This was a good episode the crazy Bishop was my favorite character in this one. He was gross and his poker was hot at all times lol. Cold-blooded making Percy get all leathered up to slop around with the bishop. The queen was being extra annoying in this one lol. I love how pissed Stephan Fry looked when she started laughing after threatening to kill him. When Baldrick tried to look sexy as a prostitute with his hand on his hip that cracked me up.

2021-02-20 07:25:43 +0000 UTCIn 1327 the deposed king Edward the 2nd had a funnel stuck into his butt and then a red hot poker was inserted which obviously burnt all his internal organs and killed him. So this was not a unheard of punishment. A better episode than the last but once you establish who the characters are it's kind of like the same joke all the time.

Much stronger than episodes 2 and 3 and I might even prefer it to episode 1 albeit they're both great. Miriam Margolyes makes an appearance next week as has already been mentioned and that is also a really strong episode from memory. Been a few years since I've seen it! Not sure what your plans are for Thursday and Friday's uploads but seriously, they can wait 'til the weekend! You deserve a break! Have a great Christmas, Josh! :-)

Think her next and only other appearance is in Blackadder’s Christmas Carol (she is in one of the better episodes of S1 too). One to keep in mind is the 15 minute charity special - the Cavalier Years. Timeline wise it would fit after you’ve watched season 2, but as it’s fairly short it may be worth doing on YT instead?
