Spoiler Free:  The final episode of Father Ted it's truly a sad day. I really enjoyed this show, this was a nice final episode. There were some things I would have like to see in the final episode that didn't happen but it's still all good in the hood.

Spoiler Alert !!!!   Spoiler Alert !!!!   Spoiler Alert !!!!    Spoiler Alert !!!!   Spoiler Alert !!!!Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!!

I would have really liked to see John and Mary (The crazy couple) one last time. It would have been great to have them get into a fight in front of Ted lol. I knew that guy looked familiar he's Tommy Tiernan, I reacted to a couple of his comedy videos. When they showed Dougal as a dog that was great. He always seems like a happy dog or a child. This was a good final episode, just knowing things will go on as usual on old Craggy Island puts a smile on my face. I will miss this show and the intro lol. I will end this post by listing my Top 5 episodes.

1.Are You Right There, Father Ted?.

2.Kicking Bishop Brennan Up The Arse

3.Chirpy Burpy Cheap Sheep

4.A Christmassy Ted

5.Speed 3

Thanks for watching folks !!! Hopefully, you all are happy, safe, and healthy !!

As always I would love to read your comments below

Father Ted: Season 3, Episode 8 Going to America

Is there any way to watch it unblurred? The links to the episodes on YouTube don't work for me. I thought paying for Patreon would make it that I could watch the full thing with your reactions like the other shows :(

Sadbnnuy

I don't understand "This video will have a timer and other elements to help you sync your own copy of the video" If other elements includes blurring of the video which all Father Ted episodes seem to be, then why are they even on Patreon?

dlwha

Are theree any versions of the Father Ted reactions without the show being blurred? I've checked a fair few of videos and most of thems have the show blurred out.

Dean

They are back in the description, I am in the process of updating several posts. This was one of those posts I apologize for the inconvenience bud.

After Work Reactions

Where are the links??

Thanks for sharing man. I can understand that man, certain celebrities may hit you harder if it is someone you really like what they do.

After Work Reactions

I remember in school being called a weirdo because I hardly batted an eye lid when princess Diana died but months later cried my eyes out when Dermot Morgan died. I only ever saw him in this and a episode of Have I got news for you. As loved as he was, I still think he was highly underrated as a comic actor. His timing, facial expressions were spot on every time and made every scene that bit funnier. Sad that you've finished this series. But glad that another person has had the full experience. Well played

makadeni123

I second that. Still Game is great!

Rob Thompson

I will keep it in mind man.

After Work Reactions

I will keep that in mind man!

After Work Reactions

That is sad =/

After Work Reactions

He was awesome. =[

After Work Reactions

Oh ok that is a shame. I find that shows don't often translate well in other cultures we well as the originals. I really did love this show a whole lot I am bummed it is over.

After Work Reactions

I agree I was so bummed to be done with this show I really enjoyed it a whole lot. That is really sad that he passed right after. Thanks! Take care.

After Work Reactions

Hey josh have you thought about checking out still game (a Scottish comedy) has about 7 or 8 series. I really think you would enjoy it. It’s one of the funniest things that’s been on British tv. Also has hints of sadness etc. Very well written and acted and produced. It Could keep you in reaction videos for a long time 👍. Check out the clips on YouTube. If anyone would like to vote for this please reply with a thumbs up. Let’s get this done

ChrisW

Royle Family on the poll please.

will doyle

It would be great to see "keeping up appearances" on the poll

Dean Macgregor

Dermot Morgan (ted) and Frank Kelly (father jack) both died of a heart attack on the same date - February 28th, frank died exactly 18 years after Dermot.

Emma

Graham Linehan used to be a music journalist. That's where he started out.

Saul

R.I.P. Dermot Morgan (Ted) and R.I.P. Frank Kelly (Jack). I'm glad you took the time to watch this show, I'm sure on the outside at first it looked bland and dated but it's surreal nature and mismatched characters holdit up nicely. Someone has probably already wrote this but there was almost an American remake. First with Steve Martin, then with Graham Norton but it was never meant to be. probably for the best.

Adam C Turek

After all these years, how have I just realised watching it this time round that he is introduced to Brian Eno at the beginning! Haha!

Stuart McArdle

Can't believe you've finished Father Ted. So sad that Dermot Morgan died after finishing this. He was so young :( Looking forward to what you watch next though :)

BelladonnicHazeyJaneII

I was bummed the show is over and it makes it worse knowing he passed right after this. I really loved this show and I can totally see myself rewatching this show.

After Work Reactions

I totally get that man I was super bummed this was the last episode but it was a really good one so they totally made up for it. Thanks for the link to the video I will listen to it right now =]

After Work Reactions

I loved it I was so bummed that it is over =[ I will keep that show in mind man.

After Work Reactions

I will keep that in mind bud!

After Work Reactions

Thank you! I looked him up after lol

After Work Reactions

Thanks man! I thought he looked familiar.

After Work Reactions

That is really sad =[ I did enjoy the show a whole lot I am happy I watched it. Thanks man I will have to watch the documentary for sure. Take care bud!

After Work Reactions

That is sad thanks for sharing bud.

After Work Reactions

I am bummed it is over =[

Black Books is one of my all time faves and although a lot different than Father Ted, it also has a lot of quirkiness to it.

BigChanChan

Dermot Morgan, the actor who played Ted actually died the day after filming this episode of a heart attack at a dinner party,, really sad news when it happened..

Austin Stratton

why cant i vote anymore?

Jade Nepia

love the thick of it

Michael

Still hoping for Still Game on the new poll! 🙂

Jonny Campbell

maybe at some point you could check out the thick of it or yes minister? they're both in a political without being partisan they're pretty good. Yes minister in particular has a lot of individual clips on youtube if you were hesitant to watch the series.

Now that you've finished Father Ted and the IT Crowd, you definitely need to watch Black Books. In my personal opinion, this is the best of the shows written by Graham Linehan, although Father Ted is a very close second.

Rob Thompson

Black Books next?

Leon Tallis

It's really sad that Dermot Morgan passed away from a heart attack shortly after the show ended 😥 but it was a great final episode overall and he'll always be remembered for this so glad you enjoyed the show man it's the best Irish comedy show ever made Imo alot of Irish comedy's are stupid but father ted really captured the Irish humour so well would you be interested in checking out the documentary on father ted called small but far away its available to watch on YouTube for free its very good so well done up to you if you want to react to it of course

Ethan Holgate

Kevin the priest ( you couldn’t place him but recognized him) is the comedian Tommy Tiernan.

The suicidal guy is Tommy Tiernan, he looks familiar because you've reacted to some of his stand up.

Fiona Gilgunn

If it’s not too late to suggest a show, can I suggest Some Mothers Do ‘Ave ‘Em

Lee

An end to a really great series, so glad you loved it Josh!! I don’t know if people have mentioned it, but I would highly recommend Dad’s Army, that’s a series from the 70’s I think you would enjoy!!

Daniel French

I was feeling sort of down this is it then I looked into this episode. I came across an interview with the guy who played Father Kevin. Two days after the dance scene when he cheers up Dermot Morgan died of a heart attack. Father Kevin said he muffed the scene many times and Ted had to keep doing the scene over. That is a far bigger bummer than the series ending. Really will miss this one.

Bob K

I'm glad it's ending as all the funny moments came from the early episodes. The IT Crowds is so much better from the creator, people want to hate on him now but I support his right to speak whatever his views.

Been refreshing the page for this, now that it's here I'm not sure I want to watch it, as it's the very last episode! Thanks for reacting to a much beloved sitcom, it's genuinely part of the culture here in Ireland, everyone knows it, and a vast majority love it! There are a lot of great comedians in Ireland but unfortunately we're very lacking in sitcoms, the most successful comedians in Ireland need to go to the UK for larger success, therefore even Father Ted needed to be produced for a British channel. Dermot Morgan (Father Ted) was a very successful satirical comedian before Father Ted, but he was ahead of his time, as the main broadcasting service in Ireland actually banned him eventually! (If I'm wrong there someone correct me but I believe that's correct). Watching this, especially the ending, does feel especially sad knowing he passed away the day after it was filmed, such a great talent, and a huge loss. Anyway, I don't want to leave this on comment on such a negative note! so I figured I should link this to you Josh, you always seem to like the intro music so maybe you'll like the full version! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k64RlXzecPU

Ben

Great show!

Mark McKeown

It was always meant to end after Three Seasons. The thing is, the original ending was meant to have Father Kevin trying to Jump again and Ted was going to join him that time round.

Happiest Aku

To end on a somber note, Dermot Morgan who plays Ted died the day after finishing filming this episode :( but at least he left behind a classic show and comedy character that will be remembered for a long time!

lemmy101

I'm sure loads of people throw shows at you to react to, but you should check out Fresh Meat. It's written by the same guys who write Peep Show, although much less depressing. The episodes are 45 mins or so each, but the characters are hilarious and memorable; caricatures of people we've all known in our late teens/early 20s.

Kit Taylor

Sad to see you finish this show Josh. It's been a laugh, and I hadn't re-watched these in ages. Great reactions man.

Kit Taylor

Looking forward to seeing what will replace Father Ted next week. Always sad to see a show end but life goes on.
