Spoiler Free: This was a really good episode if the show ended here I think it would have been a really good ending.

This episode would have been a good last episode. It ended with his agent finally pulling through, Andy's career going well, along with him realizing how much Maggie means to him and Maggie still being her goofy lovable self. I know there's another episode that will probably wrap things up a bit tighter but I would have honestly been happy with this ending. The only thing that I am curious about is will he ever get away from that crappy show and what career opportunities will come next for him and maggie. Maggie mentioned them moving in together that would be cool to see as well. This episode had a lot of funny moments and a lot of awkward silences that I have come to expect lol. Though I said this could have been the last episode I still look forward to the special. I think because things seem to go so well for Andy in this episode compared to the rest of the series, I have a feeling things might be super shitty in the next.

A listener messages in saying either them or someone they knew posed nude on a pen for like $75. Of which they wanted Karl to do. Steve then says about how embarrassing it would be to be caught masturbating over one of those pens

2020-11-02 20:43:00 +0000 UTCIf you continue to listen to some of the XFM clips it seems apparent that Andy's friendship with Jonathan Ross in this episode is based on Ricky's friendship with him in real life, with them becoming very close for two middle aged men who hadn't known each other for years, and with Steve being left on the sidelines! There are moments in the XFM show where Steve makes jibes about their friendship, where he seems partly confused and partly jealous! Sad that the Extras reactions are coming to an end, but looking forward to next week, it's one of my favourite series finales ever!

It's 70 minutes long and is just brilliant IMHO, absolutely essential in wrapping up the story, and the best episode of all. Look forward to re-watching it with you! :-)
