One of my favorite things about this show is how annoying and needy Richie is. Eddie locking himself in the bedroom with a "hobby" for an entire week made me think about one of Patrice O'neal's sketches. I think it calls ain't that better, it's about how men want to be alone but we don't want to be by ourselves and some women think they are helping but they are annoying lol. Eddie doesn't want to be alone but he also doesn't want to be bothered most of the time lol. I won't type out the entire sketch but it's definitely worth watching its hilarious. They do such a great job giving Richie stereotypical female characteristics. I love how he cleared his throat and was singing Eddie through the door while kissing lmao. Reminded me of when I lose track of time on a hobby and Tay starts being goofy to get my attention lol. This episode had so much violence I love it. Richie getting stuck in the eye, the electrocutions at the bar, Richie's crotch getting burned, knocking each other teeth out, etc. I really enjoyed this episode.
Here's the link to Aint that Better its three minutes and cracks me up.
Thanks for watching folks !!! Hopefully, you all are happy, safe, and healthy !!
As always I would love to read your comments below

Funny, this is the Bottom episode that I've watched the least. In fact, I couldn't remember what happened in it. However I enjoyed your reaction and enjoyed the episode :)

As for Red Dwarf - I reckon just have that as Patreon only. You've got every reason to make it members only and it'd be a good advert for the Patreon.
Edit: The Dangerous Brothers. Yeah - it was a Saturday Live skit which was eventually banned for being too violent (apparently - not sure if that's true, it's just one skit was cut from the show).
You could go through the first 3 Bottom Live shows (the other 2 if you want).
There's also some stuff like The Comic Strip Presents: Mr Jolly Lives Next Door, which is just wonderful but you kinda need to know who Nicholas Parson is (RIP - died in January aged 170 years, give or take).
A lovely bloke who started as a TV presenter in the 1950's. He'd be very familiar to audiences in the 1980's. Now I think you know enough to watch it.

Still have ‘The Young Ones’ and also ‘Filthy, Rich and Catflap’ which in my opinion is more like Bottom than the Young Ones is. Not many people know about ‘Filthy, Rich and Catflap’ it’s a great show with only 6 episodes made.

It's 03:22 here in Ireland on Monday morning, 12th October 2020. There are 999 Patreon members so far on this channel. If I could join twice I could be number 1,000. It's tempting... but I'm too drunk to figure out how to do it. I was going to say "If you are not a Patreon already, now is a good time." Then I remembered that you wouldn't be able to read this if you weren't already a Patreon. I told you I was drunk.

i just found a channel of yours with a bunch of 40k stuff on it, my brothers are addicted to warhammer 40k, huge battle table and everything. I on the other hand spent almost 10 years playing world of warcraft non-stop lmao. so seeing the cinematic trailer reactions on there was also a nice surprise

'The Young Ones' is definitely the closest thing to 'Bottom' since it has a lot of the same cast, although it's a lot more surreal. I really hope Red Dwarf wins as it's one of my favourite shows. If Alan Partridge wins (which I don't think it will) make sure you watch 'Knowing me, Knowing You' with Alan Partridge first, which is the precursor to 'I'm Alan Partridge'. It's his chat show which ultimately fails (1 season) that goes into the 2 seasons of 'I'm Alan Partridge', which will make that show make more sense.

If you're including Knowing Me Knowing You, then you might as well include Knowing Me Knowing Yule, so that would technically be 19 episodes ;)

You could react to The Young Ones. It's a show Rick and Ed did 10 years before, and it's even crazier. Rick plays a political student and Ed plays an anarchist punk. They live together but with 2 other characters. One is a kind of prep (who is also dave hedgehog in bottom), and the other a stoner hippie guy. It's great. Only 12 episodes.

Inside No 9
It's the best show on TV, so much better than Black Mirror and everyone is ignoring it :/ It is a show that relies on you not knowing what each episode is about before you go into them though.
2020-10-11 19:58:27 +0000 UTC
For some post Bottom violent slapstick you have to check out "the Young Ones" (12 episodes) and "Filthy, Rich & Catflap" (6 episodes) both of which star Rick and Eddie and aired before Bottom

i think it was just that red dwarf clip that had the problem on youtube with copyright, i think as long as you just clip down the episodes as you do with most you will be alright as there are channels that have already done this on youtube, like cyborcat who does red dwarf vlogs and she has 83 red dwarf videos on her channel on youtube and JimB Media has a load of reactions too, cliped down of course so its defo possible mate.

When Eddie presses the buzzer and a voice says, "Hitler: Hammersmith", it's a callback to a quiz show called University Challenge where an announcer says the name of the contestant and their college when buzzing. This show was also spoofed in a hilarious episode of the Young Ones, which also starred Rik and Ade. Keep up the fantastic work, my friend.

I think you definitely need to fill a viewing space with something short like Fawlty Towers as Only Fools is a long runner as is Peep Show. Don't want a full roster of long term shows as it may put people off, I'm not a fan of Peep Show or Extras and only occasionally dip in to your Only Fools videos so it would be a shame to have to wait ages for something I enjoy rections to

Don't do a poll and just watch red dwarf lol I don't think anybody is really going to be that offended that you chose one show a week to watch yourself, if they do then they need to get a life, either way I'm voting red dwarf anyway.

I was introduced to Bottom by my Bulgarian flatmate in London, way back in the 90s.*
He could NOT understand why it wasn't as popular in Britain as it was back home in Sofia.
I had no idea what he was talking about then, but now I do.
(We didn't have a television in the flat. We couldn't afford one.)
*not an euphanism.

faulty towers is great when you get to know the characters. when you finally get the hard done by basil personality (most of it is in someway self inflicted though!) communication problems is very funny episode. interesting fact, basil is actually based on a real hotel owner the writers of Monty python met when staying somewhere!
