Spoiler Free: This episode was really good.Short and sweet plus spoiler-free lol

Spoiler Alert !!!!   Spoiler Alert !!!!   Spoiler Alert !!!!   Spoiler Alert !!!!   Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!!   Spoiler Alert !!!!   Spoiler Alert !!!!    Spoiler Alert !!!!   Spoiler Alert !!!!

While watching this episode I was actually concerned they were going to lose everything. I was thinking Del dude you have to slow down man lol. I thought it would end with them learning a lesson about the evils of gambling or something whack like that. I loved it when Del Boy turned things around on that douche bag and used his own trick against him. What a satisfying ending !! I knew Rodney would screw up and say tails but it was still funny as heck. Also on a random note, they have a new phone in this episode. Their phone use to be white. Don't know what I mention this just felt like it lol.

Thanks for watching folks !!! Hopefully, you all are happy, safe, and healthy !!

As always I would love to read your comments below.

After Work Reactions

Your welcome bro I love your reactions to only fools as you said its not always have to be funny all the way through aslong it has good story lines. I love the old fashion family values del has his one in a million and his based on a real hustler Also fun fact on why trigger calls Rodney dave is becasue on time on set trigger accidently called Rodney dave and the director kept it in their and just went with it

Rob OnlyRoss

Thanks man I thought he looked familiar. I will have to check out the prequel next thanks man.

After Work Reactions

Boycie played the old man cop in hot fuzz you prob figured that out by now haha Also once you've finished only fools they made a short prequal show called rock and chips which del boy is a kid and is played by the actor that plays Jay from the inbetweeners. It has young characters like Boycie, denzil, trigger, Sgt Slater and you also see dels mum and dad it's such a great show to learn about how only fools came about

Rob OnlyRoss

This is the first (of many) classic episodes

Steve King

Knowing the character of delboy hes quite tough hes not a push over like Rodney. But he would rather use his wits if we can.

Fred bates

After Work Reactions

One of the most iconic moments in British comedy history, I will never tire of watching it and it’s great to see it appreciated by other cultures. Keep up the good work josh. Btw I know boycie seems like trash now but he really does end up being one of the best characters lol.

Matty

Josh I luv your reaction to Boycee switching the cards, pulling that emotion out of you shows what a good actor he is LoL

Andrew G

Just on your phone observation, you will observe many changes to furniture and the like in almost every episode, its meant to be and not a continuity error. Its to show you that there life is wheeling and dealing and living hand to mouth so everyday can be different.

NEXUS

That episode was hilarious! Glad you liked it Josh! That slimy dude Boycie becomes a regular character down the line

AWR93

After Work Reactions

Always look forward to your OFAH reactions Josh!! Boycie is one of my favs!! I know I've mentioned it before, but it would be great if you could do two OFAH reactions a week, otherwise this could take a while!!! Just kidding, but it would be great!!

Daniel French

Plenty of people in the comments giving spoilers away about Boycie's character development for the future, would have been better for you to just watch it develop for yourself and see what opinions you form

Andrew

This epsiode has my favourite piece of cockney rhyming slang - The rhyming slang for "Ass" is "Bottle and glass", and over the years it became shortened to "Bottle", then it got its own rhyming slang of "Aristotle", which became shortened to "Aris", which then got its own rhyming slang of "April in Paris", which got shortened to "April". So in future episodes when you hear Del talking about his "April" (or boycie talking about an "Aris") they are talking about their ass!

Devyn Hall

Boycie (and Marlene when she finally appears) sort of became their own little double act. So much so, that John Sullivan gave them their own spin-off series when β€˜Only Fools and Horses’ ended and John Challis and Sue Holderness would do conventions and TV together, sometimes as themselves of as their characters,

Daniel Davies

Love it Jon πŸ˜‚

Rich Moyse

Boycie is a nasty piece of work in this episode but he does become one of the most enjoyable characters in the show as it progresses. Him and Marlene are really funny when you see them together, he continues to have a digs at the Trotter's due to his snobby nature. As the other comments alluded to, this is where the show really takes off with the new characters. Great watch as always Josh :D

Mitchell Gallagher

I've seen this episode so many times but I still get all tensed up during the card game scenes and then I just love it when Del boy beats him even though I know it's going to happen. That's a testament to the great writing and acting I suppose. Great episode, glad you enjoyed it Josh :) And yes that's Boycie who you've seen before, the car salesman.

BelladonnicHazeyJaneII

Hey Josh. Yeah, Boyce is the same guy who's car they drove. He is a regular character. He's a "friend" of Del's but he always looks down his nose at the Trotters. He is sneaky and selfish and is only interested in making money. He's not a great mate to Del and will tuck him up (con/use him) without batting an eye. His wife is Marlene (who also becomes a well known character). She was/is a "bit of a goer" (likes the men) and its always funny that Del is able to get one over on Boycie by pinching her arse or something. In these situations there is always a few seconds before Boycie kinda double takes and realises what has happened, which is funny as fuck. The most noticeable thing about Boycie is his laugh, which you will come to know and love πŸ‘πŸ»

Steve Small

Yes that is the same guy who asked Del Boy to look after his car :) The Jaguar I believe

Jake Lol

Yea I agree. I must say, I much prefer it later on when they start doing the hour-long episodes but you can start to see the genius of Sullivan's writing here.

chxrno

Boycie is a great character, he becomes a lot more likeable as the show goes on. Good eye with the phone too man. If you notice, the furniture in the flat changes with every episode because they're always wheeling & dealing stuff :)

chxrno

Yes, this is where the show really starts to hit its stride.

Christopher Horner

Yugoslavia? How old are those comments!

Manly Stump

You’ll notice lots of things change like the chairs, dinning table phone etc, it’s meant to signify the wheeler dealer that Del Boy is like he’ll sell his possessions when he’s short of money then get other when he has money again

Alex Prince

Boycie tried to outdo Del at cheating and lost lol On a side note I have been watching a lot of youtube clips of OFAH and it's amazing how loved this is in other countries and I never knew, people from places like Yugoslavia were commenting saying how popular it was in their country.
