Duos The Violent Batter by Luckyman. 

Luckyman mah man strike again. A great character with a tragic story.

Bio:

In knowing the past of Duos some may understand his tragedy. A competitor of the rejiuu spirit Nemain lion against his brother Dayrun did Duos give up abruptly on the verge of awakening this power. He had fallen in love with an orc woman from the village and lost focus ending the rivalry he and brother had. 

While it may have been odd at the time, Dayrun supported his brother nonetheless and so came the end of their rivalry. In time Duos achieved to marry this woman, and had a son. Content and happy at being a family man Duos felt at peace with the world. Not seeing the tragedy that would befall him.   

It was during a hunt did Duos get word of his family being taken by him. A cultist of Mages who still unpowered people from different races and enslaved them came across Duos family while they were gathering. In rage and impatience did Duos go after these foes alone. He wished not to lose his family and in blind rage was captured by these evil mages.  

Beaten and tortured in an underground lair. Duos had been given an option to fight in a gladiator battle for his family freedom. Mages place slaves with no power against one another to fight for their entertainment. For 5 long years did Duos fight in that ring in thought of saving his family and on his last leg to fight did these mages tell him his wife and son were killed long ago. 

 Mocking at his shock they laughed at how he held no magical prowess to stop them. Repeating that those with magic such as them were far more superior. In rage, sorrow, and heart aching anguish did Duos feel that Reijuu awakening a pond him. Although to everyone surprise he had rejected it and unleash a strength like no other as he broke his chains.

It took a long month before Duos made it back to Bhutei and when they found him he was a mess. Bloody from head to toe and carrying a massive pillar drench in blood. On that day Duos extreme hate to magic boiled inside Duos. Sworn on that day, he never let harm come to those close to him. Never again would he use power or be overpowered by magic again.
