LE SSERAFIM 'HOT' EP Review | ReacttotheK Weekly #67

Umu is back from her trip to NYC, but the podcast is still scuffed because now one of our mics is broken (along with two hard drives full of houndreds of hours of footage), but while everything crumbles around us, we will rise from the ashes like LE SSERAFIM as Umu, Honor, and Helen debate whether their latest mini-album is HOT or NOT.

WOW! I hadn’t previously heard of the lawsuit - that’s good to hear the attackers have consequences coming for them.

Hate to hear the live singing thing raised. It looks like it was engineered, using hired attack YouTubers to build it. I remember seeing that criticism coming from a small select group, all in English, as far as I can tell. I was curious and watched it closely. It did seem like a coordinated attack with whole sections of text duplicated in simultaneous posts. Hybe has a lawsuit in progress and an American judge ruled that Google had to give up the identities of the attackers. We'll hear more eventually. I have a lot to say about it, but I'm a big LSF fan. I've followed Miyawaki Sakura and Kim Chaewon from Produce 48 (Huh Yunjin, too). To say that they can't sing live is just plain ridiculous. These critics really laid it on for the Coachella performances. The sound quality of Coachella's videos was terrible, and the attackers jumped on that, but there were fan videos with much better sound quality. I've gotten too long-winded, but have to say also that the titles of all of LSF's songs have been laid out almost from debut: Easy, Crazy, Hot were all fundamental in the promotions from the beginning. Thank you, as always for a fun experience.
