Thank you for sharing, it's not easy to implement, because subscription groups are not linked to playlists. I'll add the suggestion to the list of ideas.

2024-01-27 14:24:33 +0000 UTCI add videos I probably want to watch to Watch Later (and "more important" videos to another custom playlist) and only remove them when I watched them or am no longer interested - for me that works better than relying on youtube considering a video watched or not. That's why I can't just use subscription groups for that and am using playlists. Just to explain the issue better, maybe you even got an idea how I could solve it in another way 🙂

2024-01-27 14:20:42 +0000 UTCHi, it's me again 😁 besides custom duration filtering in playlists it would also be great to have a subscription group filter. The AI topic filter is nice, but doesn't allow for filtering custom groups of subscriptions in playlists 🙂

But now I wish there was a button to mark a video as unwatched / remove it from history 😁 (instead of going into your youtube history) I was surprised to see it doesn't seem to reset the "watch position" in the video, which was my initial fear - so at least when organizing your video subscriptions as much by hand as people with this extension probably do this can be useful to tweak the 'watched' filter 😊

2024-01-19 20:23:32 +0000 UTCThere is no option to filter short amounts, but as a workaround, you can remove the video from history, after that it'll be not considered as watched. 2024-01-03 21:02:41 +0000 UTCThe most recent updates to the extension causes the list of videos to constantly refresh, making it impossible to click on a video to watch it. This happens on about 50% of the channels. I have created a video of the videos constantly refreshing, which I would be happy to email to you. Turning off the extension fixes the issue. Note also that turning the extension off doesn't immediately work. One has to refresh the YouTube page in order to get it to turn off (refreshing the page to get the extension to turn off might be a Chrome issue).

I have a playlist I listen to while I sleep and I would love to be able to pick and choose a few things I want to listen to before it goes onto the normal playlist. Also is there any way to sort a playlist alphabetically by channel name then sort the videos either by upload date or alphabetically? Would be awesome to catch up on creators content one at a time but all in the same playlist.

For example, I watch a lot of Reactor channels, and most of their videos I don't mind seeing. But I'm currently not watching Ahsoka due to wanting to finish The Clone Wars first, and I'd like to avoid seeing any videos with Ahsoka in the title since some reactors post really spoiler filled titles and thumbnails. Any ideas on how to make this easier for me? Thank you!

2023-09-09 14:13:02 +0000 UTCIt's not related to PocketTube, because PocketTube didn't have a chronological sort for playlists on the view page. It was feature by YouTube and seems YouTube removed it internally. I'll investigate the ability to back using extension, however not sure it's possible.

2023-09-09 13:13:54 +0000 UTCI think this update changed a small thing with playlists that I used all the time to watch certain channels videos in chronological order, for example for twitch streamer clip channels with tons of new videos that I'm not subbed to or it would flood my sub page. So before I would: Go to a channels videos -> click on the play all button from your extension -> latest video opens up with the playlist on the side -> click playlist name to go to its settings -> reverse order -> watch in chronological order but now: Go to a channels videos -> click on the play all button from your extension -> latest video opens up with the playlist on the side -> *cant click playlist name* The playlist simply shrinks/expands when you click on the name now. Is there a way you could revert that simple change or have a sort in reverse button for the playlist on the side when watching videos? Thanks for the work so far <3

Alternative you can export/import your groups on file. Click on the extension icon -> backup -> export/import. It's account-agnostic backup.
