Oh man! I kinda forgot about that too. Rask would get some real blow back from telling the wolf he was suppose to kill, where their home is. I also wonder how big the invading pack is. We never get a clear number. It could be 20-30 strong. Which would still leave swifts 7ish member pack at a major disadvantage.

She isn’t as desperate as she used to be just a few pages ago, so the idea of joining a bunch of little prey animals might be getting a little less palatable. Was Swift’s run through the woods the “Incursion” as the title of this chapter suggests?

But she knows singer, and knows his a coward. And she knows keen, which is why she knew he was a more dangerous threat. Swift should follow Screes advise. She has inside information.

Besides, if Singer is taken care of quickly, Keen could be a fairly easy source of meat since he'll live a bit longer and that will delay decay. Unless other scavengers get to him first or they have to run from the rest of the pack, that is.

The other pack view so much as weakness, and by Singer's account, he'd think him dead. He doesn't have much time left, I doubt he'll become a problem down the line. Glad Scree is back on the team. I like Scree.
