Here's a quick look at the background from the first panel of page 254.

Something that's on my mind, particularly when I do backgrounds... If you're an artist or aspiring artist, one thing that I don't think gets talked about a lot is that there is ALWAYS a point in whatever you're working on where it looks objectively bad/just not what you had in your head.
Don't let that get to you, it happens at some point in every piece, at every skill level in my experience. It just doesn't "feel right" because it isn't right yet, how can it be-- it's half-baked. It feels frustrating when you hit the 'ugly' stage, but trust it's a part of the process, and not specifically a failing in you as an artist/creator.
