Inktober: Patreon Special Event!

Autumn's here, Halloween is coming up, and artists around the world are getting out their favorite ink pens and brushes - it's INKTOBER! I'm participating for the first time this year by doing a small original ink drawing every day, most of them freehand or with minimal sketch guidance. I'm using my favorite Pentel Pocket Brush Pen that gives my traditional bug doodles their calligraphic look and flowing feel. By the end of the month, I'll have created 31 new ink drawings this way!

Fans, followers, friends and other folk can see my Inktober drawings on several sites, including Twitter, as I will be posting them throughout the month. Patrons, however, have a special opportunity to get further involved with my Inktober journey! Patrons in the Sketchbook tier or above - that's only $5+ per month - will be receiving higher resolution copies of all the drawings in the October sketch pack going out in early November. But that's not all: every Bug Club level patron will be able to choose an original drawing from the month's selection as their special gift for October!

To keep things fair, the names of all Bug Club level patrons will be put into a scrambler to determine the order in which they may choose their original drawing. Each eligible patron can also select another drawing of which to receive a signed print along with their original! This way, even if you are near the end of the list and someone has already selected your first choice drawing, you can still get a copy from me of this special artwork. All drawings will be available to select as originals except the drawing from day 1.

I'll be posting more Inktober drawings regularly so you can see what the choices are shaping up to be - and feel free to make suggestions if there's anything you'd like to see! This is a great month to join up at any tier level, and if you like my work, I humbly request you to consider helping me make it for even just $1 a month.
