I actually lost quite a lot of appreciate for Day6 after hearing them live back in '19. I found them pretty lacking in more than a couple of areas. Also, just to be clear, the bachata (dance Briana mentioned) is from the Dominican Republic (started in the 60's?) Altho it was getting popular in Columbia when I was hitting the dance halls in Cartagena around ~'03 in a somewhat altered form.
