In Night City, it's super common to install a chip that records basically everything you do. In this world, there's a market for getting and selling these chips from Brain Dance (BD) editors. They will get these chips from people (dead or alive), edit them, and create an experience (usually sexual or violent) to sell to people so they can feel and experience it like they were actually there. So, David actually felt what it was like killing all those cops and what it felt like to die. That's why he felt like his brain was "buzzing". He was living through Noriss' actual last moments.

2024-11-06 16:51:20 +0000 UTCbtw is there any reason you're watching the english dub? it's only partially a bias from my side but japaneese voice acting is just top tier, they have a whole culture around it, it's also why you find some of the voices (like lucy's) annoying, because the voices just feel weird in general. so just a heads up to try the japaneese dub, even if you're gonna keep watching in english i'll still watch, simply because the show is so good
