AGGGH! Hugo & Jeremy missed that great sliding part in the choreography (at 0:57 in your video). I'm soooo sad! π

I don't know if its just me but the ending seemed a bit abrupt? Usually there's a closing running title, no?

thank you for letting me know. I've reported them multiple times now but it seems YT is slow to take their channel down T-T

I think it depends on the company and the group concept tbh. SM is known to have good vocal training so even idols assigned to rap position can usually sing decently. Since Kpop is super influenced by hip hop now I think companies are even more confident with having a couple of good singers and assigning those who aren't strong singers to a rap position. As for group concepts ~ groups with cute concepts are less likely to have a bunch of super strong singers because they're going for a light and cute sound, while groups like Vixx and EXO have a really strong vocal lines because it matches their concepts?

I'll make sure to look for music core performances in the future!

The reason why it sounds like they might have been lipsyncing is because while they did sing live they are performing with a very loud MR, meaning that their recorded voices are still playing in the background to make them sound more stable. This means that those with lighter voices aren't heard as much over the MR as those with stronger voices so when they sing you mostly hear the recording. I'd recommend showing the reactors Music Core performances because you can usually hear the singers voices more

I'm curious about what y'all think about Gwen's opinion that KPOP groups are made of a few good singers and the rest are if back up singers are made leads. Do you agree that KPOP companies choose singers with good intonation over having a good sounding timbre? Or do you totally disagree?
