Added 2023-10-21 05:38:08 +0000 UTCMy next painting commission is for Mag! I took a slightly different approach than normal by painting in the values of the figure first. This is a well known technique that I used when I was first teaching myself digital painting, but I was never rly happy with how it would look. Now I have a better understanding of how to paint values it felt like the completely natural way to start this painting, and I've saved a lot of time on lighting and detail work. This is one of reasons I enjoy commission work so much, it's constantly pushing me to learn and improve 🔥
