The primordial corruption of earth manifests as a reflection of an underground dweller, typically as an enormous burrower creature or millions of tiny elementals condensed into one. The form can be any ground-dweller, ranging from earthworms, spiders, snakes, badgers, rabbits, or turtles, and gains a rocky composition and appearance. Yellow shard-like crystals infused with the essence of primal earth grow out of the elemental’s body in wicked skewers.

DESIGN COMMENTARY
Design-wise, the idea of a burrowing worm has already been done to death but I had already gone experimental with the other primordial corruptions, so I didn't feel the need to push this one. I did briefly explore other burrowing creatures (since primordial corruptions are most likely to corrupt creatures in their native element), but most of them were mammals and didn't quite fit the rock aesthetic. Still, this art is probably my favorite out of the four, the other being the water one.
I did, however, focus on some experimental stats and some theming. Rather than the bulwark most rock creatures tend to be, this one is a skirmisher and ambusher, designed to maximize its use of Explosive Emerge to pop in and out of combat. Also, the primordial corruption is actually a BUNCH of rock worms tightly bound together (you can kinda see if you look real close) instead of a single entity. It works a lot like an earthworm would when it moves, essentially grinding up and spitting out debris from the other end.
