[Tools] Item - Revenant Block

You're probably wondering why this month's theme is so bloody and in response, I say, that's just red paint!

The knives bound to this knife block were stolen from the mortuarium of the shadowlord Kayn, sharpened by revenant claws in the Shadowbarren. For this reason only few such blocks exist, solely in the hands of chefs brave enough to use them.

Revenant Block
Wondrous item, rare (requires attunement by a character proficient with cook's utensils)

When you attune to this knife block, it manifests three spectral knives that only you can interact with. They are invisible to other creatures while in the knife block and become visible when drawn. Each knife teleports back to the knife block if you are not holding it at the end of your turn.  You can use the knives as cook's utensils for cutting food. While attuned, you also double your proficiency bonus to ability checks made using cook's utensils. Creatures unaware of the knife block's properties initially perceive it as a simple tool and can use an action to recognize its true purpose by succeeding on a DC 15 Intelligence (Arcana or Investigation) check.

Revenant Knives. The knife block manifests three unique spectral magic knives, each with unique statistics and properties. You can draw a knife as part of an attack made with it. You can use a bonus action to teleport any drawn spectral knives back to the knife block; knives also teleport back to the knife block if you are not holding them at the end of your turn. The three knives are as follows:

• Cleaver. This thick, heavy knife is designed to hew flesh and split tendons. It is a handaxe with the Finesse property. When you hit a target with this knife, you can reduce its walking speed by 10 feet until the end of its next turn, to a minimum of 10 feet. 
• Parer. This small, thin knife is designed to be precise. It is a dagger that grants a +2 bonus to attack rolls made with it and ignores half cover. This bonus increases to +5 against targets two or more sizes smaller than you. 
• Slicer. This curved knife is designed to be simple and adaptive. It is a dagger that can deal piercing or slashing damage (your choice), and deals an extra 1d4 weapon damage on a hit.
