Many of the students who come through my garden each week have a very difficult time managing their emotions, so when they get frustrated they take it out on the rest of the class. Ever since my first listen, my #1 thing that I tell them during these moments is Will’s “it’s okay to be angry, it’s not okay to be cruel”. It’s crazy effective.

Imagine the multitude of things that you would have interjected because you could write the story instead of the dice setting the outcome, and here you all are reflecting on the giant [Marvel-franchise-esque] build that came from nowhere except Being Present. The enthusiasm (and the monetizing impulse of Patreon tiers, but that's beside the point) creates want for a breathing space where you can share your reflections without being judged [penalized with unsubs bc of indesirable content]. I think maybe in the future just release a normal one that comes out fun with some big laughs as a surprise in the regular feed? Also Mountains of Dadness is still the high point of the series and Will articulating how you can’t have perfect rolls every time just because the season is ending or whatever, that’s part of the chemistry, really helped me feel better about the big battle finale for S1. Really excited for S2 and all future mini-arcs!!

I know people say this a lot but your show has really helped with some tough times, I lost my dad and became a dad in a very short amount of time and when it has been tough the main show and talking dad has helped bring back some daddy magic.
