As a new listener there was something interesting about the cuff bracelets part and I won’t lie, I was CONVINCED the omega daddies were in fact bardock related (either his kids who then Go back in Time from the future to defeat other bad dads almost like a reverse minority report meets terminator OR it was bardock, cern and someone else from the future the dads had interfered with their children and now future them were enacting revenge). So on the one hand the twist about it being their dads in the purple robes really felt like a surprise but on the other there was something so potent about that scene I’ve had tunnel vision on it since I started listening in April. I loved hearing the group hitting Anthony with a perception check and seeing the shit they planned come to fruition. It felt EARNED! I loved it.

I Waited so long for this joke to pay off and I was so glad when it finally came around to the punch line. What I was thinking tho is Daryll would go to Neverwinter before the pyramid but during the fight, save Cerns kids then wait for when Cern got out the van after he found out they killed his kids and that's when timetravel Daryll comes out of the woods. Then he tells Cern to fight the dads during 4 Nights and trick the dads into the seaweed telling him about the safety shield and that's how Cern always knew where the dads where

I do think the Rock works great in the right casting - Pain & Gain, Fast 5, Moana, Scorpion King all use him pretty well. But I do find him super phony. And Vin Diesel is very earnest and kinda a big nerd (though as a counterpoint you don't get as much of that sense from him recently). I recently watched Pitch Black and he is fantastic in that (the other Riddick movies I can take or leave)
