I just realized (and am now DEEPLY BOTHERED) that transcripts of what happened cant/ shouldn't even be accepted into evidence from the fact that the witness didn't give their testimony that the transcript provided was true and accurate. The only out I see tocthis is the idea that trees are 100% lawful and truthful, and the law of Faerün allows trees' transcripts to be admissible in court without verification. ALSO, Glenn DID help save Erin by giving the birds Bardic Inspiration, she wouldn't have known that unless told, but Glenn (and therefore his team) would've definitely known that and had the opportunity to jump on that SINCE the trees' testimony/transcripts are allowed in Faerün's court of law ALSO ALSO, using crimes (like letting Nick smoke on earth, like regular earth when Darryl is picking him and Glenn up) should also NOT be admissible since it's a different government's set of laws

This is my third time of re-listening to all dungeons and daddies episodes. It’s so funny because I just finished my second year of law school while listening to this again. And I just finished my trial practice class. As a law student, I think you guys ate. Your objections were correct, you guys had all the right tactics for cross-examining a witness, and you ask awesome leading questions (which btw you are allowed to do on cross). The only thing that I would say about this is you guys didn’t object to lack of foundation. But the remedy for that is to just build foundation before you ask that question. All in all great work, I was cackling the whole time !
