The yearly procession takes about 3 weeks and involves pilgrimage to the Obsidian Keep, along the way the Order members and general citizenry feast and celebrate along every town and village they stop, picking up recruits.
The Order is kind of a great equalizer since it elevates the peasantry or poor farmers, fun fact Aida was a peasant serving girl before the order. Usually the recruits are around 16/17 years of age since it seems to be the time where it can best attune to dragonling newborns.
Dragonlings will always be the brood of a Great Warden's dragon or dragoness. Male dragons impregnate many wild females who lay clutches of a few eggs each and female dragonesses are impregnated by many wild males and give out impressively large clutches. Great Warden dragons are always meant to be the pinnacle of dragon form hence why they are used as stud/broodmares for the next generation.
I'm really excited on the next bits too! I'll be detailing what day to day life is like, the armors and weapons used, hierarchy, what the Obsidian Keep is really like on the inside and some of the unique differences between Order Dragons and Wild Dragons.

All other dragons are encouraged to also breed with wild stock to fulfill their biologic needs obviously but the only Order dragon that gets to develop its lineage is the Great Warden's!
