I get no one realising it's team rocket because they do the whole Clark Kent/Superman glasses thing is the joke, but it does get a tad much at times. So this is the second time Ash has got to run with the torch... Ash's main character armour does probably come down to the fact the first 2 gens they adapted were pretty simple games, it doesn't mean they couldn't have had him lose a bit more, but I kind of get it, he's a bit of a self insert at times, but he does get better, partly because they just have more to work with storywise next season onward, but also because of some other things I can't mention for another... about 2 weeks I think.
