I am so glad you shared Erik's reading of this story! His narration is spot-on, the production is fantastic, and now I have another podcast to listen to. I've recently tried audio books for the first time and I've decided that it is actually a valid way to enjoy a book (I'm late to this party and I blame my chronic case of old). I remember when y'all featured this book back in 2017 and how much you enjoyed it, but this one really needs to be read/heard to fully appreciate all the nuance. I miss the way books and movies from this era took their time to unfold their stories, and despite the languid pace of this story it never seemed to drag.
