2025-01-11 05:47:06 +0000 UTCI ADORE Ygritte. She knew Jon was still loyal to The Watch, but she cares more about the loyalty between the two of them; she genuinely loves him. She acknowledges that Mance and The Watch see them both as soldiers in their respective camps, but they care about each other and should look out for each other and forget the rest. Sam and Gilly are cute too, but the romance between Ygritte and Jon is just chef's kiss. I did hate that The Brotherhood sold out Gendry, but Mel made it seem like he had a greater purpose than just smithing for them. What also gave me chills was the look of fear Melisandre had when she gazed into Arya's eyes; Mel was genuinely terrified of her. The Torturer is such a great character. The actor who plays him is actually one of the sweetest people around, similar to Jack Gleeson aka Joffrey. Edmure marrying one of Walder's daughters would make his grandchildren the heirs to The Riverlands. It's not as prestigious as being the children of The King In The North, but it's still something Walder has wanted. But gotta call it what it is; a consolation prize. But at least Walder is willing to accept apologies and the silver medal.

2025-01-10 16:35:49 +0000 UTCWhen Sam says the wall weeps, he means that during the summer, when it gets warm enough (which is still really cold) the wall will melt and water will run down it. One of the jobs of the Night's watch is to reinforce the wall with more ice when it starts to erode.
