Shireen is a sweet girl. I adore her and I do love that Stannis does not shun or feel ashamed of her. Stannis is a lot of things, but I admire his devotion to the causes he supports and the love he holds for his kiddo. I consider this episode to be Jaime's full face turn. He wanted Eddard to appreciate him so badly for what he did for King's Landing, but Eddard still saw Jaime killing the Mad King as a dishonor; Jaime felt dismayed and distraught that Eddard shunned him, because he did genuinely admire Ed. Jaime is an arrogant douche, but he's practical and he's not a malevolent person; he does care about protecting people and saving lives. I also need to give Jaime some meritable justification; Eddard, Robert, and Jon Arryn swore oaths to The Mad King; oath's they broke and for good reason; Aerys was a tyrant and batshit insane, but how is it okay for them to raise a rebelliion, but not okay for Jaime to kill a man bent on burning hundreds of thousands alive? I sympathize with Jaime whole heartedly; he saved many lives, got no thanks for it, and in fact was shamed for what he did. I don't blame him for being so bitter and angry with the various lords of Westeros. Grey Worm is a badass! I know you're going to love him. Missandei is also a great asset/friend to Dany as she is familiar with Essos(The land Dany is on) Robb acknowledges that he screwed up by killing Karstark; his men abandoned ship and went home. Taking Casterly Rock is probably his best move since most of the Lannister army is at King's Landing. He is also correct in his assessment that if he turned his army north to retake Moat Cailen and Winterfell, his men would abandon the cause. Not that they Greyjoys would be much of a problem to contend with, but the war is wearing on his soldiers and the lack of progress has drained their morale. 18:56 I spit my drink out when you said that lmao XD As much as I love Tywin as a character, I did feel disgust at him for suggesting that Tyrion marry Sansa. As if the poor girl has not suffered enough... Mind you Tyrion would not harm her, but she's still a child. Tywin was a complete douchebag to both Cersei and Tyrion.

2025-01-09 19:55:53 +0000 UTCStannis's daughter had a disease called Greyscale which causes the skin to harden and can eventually spread to their entire body, it's usually fatal, but Stannis's daughter is one of the few to have survived it although her face is scarred as a result. She's a sweet girl though as you can see, just had the misfortune to be born to parents who are not exactly overflowing with affection. In the books the Unsullied don't actually have permanent names, every day they draw a random name from a pile and that is their name for the day. Everything about their training is to drill the fact into them that they have no identity other than as tools.
