Important Update: New Tiers & What You Need to Do

As we roll out Patreon 2.0 in July, we’re updating our tiers and need your help to ensure you continue getting the rewards you love.

Here’s what you need to know:

$2.99/month – Paper Knight
• Access to new battlemaps each month (4 variations each)
• Access to The Fold — your one-stop archive with hundreds of battlemaps, tagged and searchable for easy downloading
The perfect entry point to safeguard your adventures with fresh, high-quality maps at the best price.

$7.99/month – Paper Wizard
• All Paper Knight perks
• Upgrade to The Fold+, with hundreds of Item Cards, the ability to download maps by year, and access to premium map variations (4 additional, exclusive variations per map)
• Access to monthly Foundry VTT modules for the latest 3 months of content (installed modules remain available)
Like a true wizard wielding a vast spellbook, this tier unlocks a trove of exclusive maps and tools to elevate your game.

$11.99/month – Paper Hero
• All Paper Wizard perks
• Unlimited access to ALL Foundry VTT modules (kept up to date)
• Commercial license for all our maps
• Exclusive Paper Hero Discord role, with access to the Heroic Fold Discord channel
The tier of legends — the crinkliest, foldiest fold, granting you every treasure we have to offer, fit for the chosen few.

🔄 Which Tiers Will Automatically Convert?

✔️ Preliminary Scout ($1 /creation) → Paper Knight ($2.99 /month)
✔️ Undaunted Pioneer ($3 /creation) → Paper Wizard ($7.99 /month)
✔️ Grand Archivist ($5 /creation) → Paper Hero ($11.99 /month)

If you are in one of these tiers, you don’t need to do anything — you’ll automatically convert to the corresponding new tier when we switch to per-month billing.

If you wish to switch to a different tier, please move to your tier of choice before August.

Reminder: we are currently on per-creation billing — meaning your pledge was multiplied by the number of maps we released each month. After the change, you’ll pay a single fixed fee per month, no matter how many releases you get.

⚠️ Which Tiers Need Manual Action?

❗ The First Scouts, First Class Ranger, and Master Chronicler – these tiers will not convert automatically.

If you’re in one of these, you’ll need to manually switch to one of the three new tiers before August to keep receiving rewards.

Due to Patreon’s policies, we cannot move members ourselves — please remember to make the switch in your Patreon settings near the end of July!

What’s Next?

We’re so excited to finally bring The Fold to you — a complete, easy-to-use archive for all our maps and items, with powerful filters and search. It’s something we’ve considered for years, and it contains features many Patrons have been requesting for years. We’re thrilled to start rolling it out alongside our Foundry VTT integration.

Please note: you may see updates and changes throughout July and August as we transition, upload, and refine our offerings. By August, we aim to have our new system fully live, with even more content expanding over time.
