Tyrion is a master of politics. I love how he knows how to gauge his audience. He knows they couldn't care less if Joffrey gets a very late term abortion, so he shows them that they still have everything to lose.
As for characters being safe, Tyrion isn't safe, Joffrey isn't safe, neither is Cersei, The Hound, Aria, Sansa, Rob, Jon Snow, Brienne, Stannis, Lord Baelish, Varys, Daenerys, Samuel, or anyone really. Not many people are going to be left at the end of this game.

Gotta give Stannis points; he was there front and center and fought alongside his men. He may be a fanatic, but he stuck to his principles. I don't like him, but I respect him.
I love that The Hound is growing on you; he's an asshole, but he tells it like it is.
Using flaming arrows is kind of pointless right now, plus flaming arrows were used more for what Bronn did in the first half. They'd be smarter to just fire plain arrows as Stannis' men would not even see them coming
4:38 Dood you had me rolling XD
I give Lancel credit; he's kind of a bitch himself, but he's not stupid. He knows pulling Joffrey back would be bad for morale.
The Hound has a phobia of fire; his own brother burned his face and being surrounded by so much around him made him panic.
"Fuck the King." Hound Face turn confirmed!!
Podrick makes such an epic save. I don't recall who orders Tyrion's death, but I am mostly certain it's Joffrey.
You'll learn more about the song at the end. It is eerie. :)

The reason why the Hound was hesitant during the battle, was because of all the nearby flames, triggering his ptsd of his brother melting half his face off in the fire place, back when they were kids. At that point he just thought, sod it... I ain't dying for that twat Joffery lol.

That song you heard at the end of the episode is called, " The Rains of Castamere". It's the same song Bron was singing in part 1 with the Lannister men.
The lore behind the song is that House Reyne rebelled against Twins father Tytos Lannister so in order to restore the house name Tywin marched against the upstart Lord of Castamere, Roger Reyne. By the end of the rebellion, Castamere had been put to the torch and all members of House Reyne were executed.
In the decades since young Tywin reasserted House Lannister's dominance by crushing the Reynes, "The Rains of Castamere" went on to become very popular with soldiers of the Westerlands, becoming an "anthem" of sorts for House Lannister. This extends to the point that western soldiers sometimes refer to it simply as, "the Lannister song".
I don't wanna spoil anything you haven't seen yet so I'll only say this, this song is a bad Omen for the enemies of house Lannister.
Here are the lyrics;
"And who are you?" The proud Lord said
"That I must bow so low"
Only a cat of a different coat
That's all the truth I know
In a coat of gold or a coat of red
A lion still has claws
Mine are long and sharp, my lord
As long and sharp as yours
And so he spoke, and so he spoke
That Lord of Castamere
But now the rains weep o'er his hall
And not a soul to hear
"And who are you?" The proud Lord said
"That I must bow so low"
Only a cat of a different coat
That's all the truth I know
And so he spoke, and so he spoke
That Lord of Castamere
But now the rains weep o'er his hall
And not a soul to hear
And so he spoke, and so he spoke
That Lord of Castamere
But now the rains weep o'er his hall
And not a soul to hear
and so he spoke
(That Lord of Castamere) Lord of Castamere
(But now the rains) weep o'er his hall
(And not a soul to hear)
And not a soul to hear
