Cid saying he can't afford to lose any more...gold coins, while the shadow garden girls think he is talking about them haha. Just in case you've forgotten some details from last season. Aurora, also called the Witch of Calamity was introduced at the end of last season (she and Cid were together in the secret laboratory area) and it turned out she was actually Diabolos (the ancient demon who was defeated by the hero and whose body parts were kept by the cult in order to study and use). So both vampires and the possessed are offshoots of her power which is why she said she was the original.

2024-12-11 14:29:43 +0000 UTCSo to help set some context, at the end Cid doesn't actually believe something is happening to Claire, he thinks she's going thru a phase called "Chuunibyou" or "8th grader Syndrome" which is basically where a middle schooler has grandiose delusions or believes they have some sort of hidden power or the like. So Cid just thinks she's going thru a phase of believing she's special and doesn't wanna snap her out of it in case it hurts her mentally, when in actuality she does have something special about her.
