2024-11-26 20:30:31 +0000 UTCTo be fair, Giselle is just a kid, Ash humbled her by beating her in a battle and she was willing to realise she was being too harsh, she'd just let her ego get to her own head a little too much. since you like Cubone I kind of feel like bringing this up... it has a pretty messed up Pokedex description... "The skull it wears on its head is that of its dead mother. According to some, it will evolve when it comes to terms with the pain of her death." This was actually a plot point in the first game as well, there's a lot of dark Pokedex descriptions in the series. I'll probably share some more if any in particular stand out.

2024-11-26 17:58:16 +0000 UTCSo idk if you noticed or not, if you did you didn't say anything in the episode, but pikachu actually had different voice actor for most of its lines in this episode, I can't remember the reason, but pikachu is voiced by Ikue Otani, however for this episode alone pikachu was voiced by Rachael Lillis (Misty's voice actor), who unfortunately passed away earlier this year.

2024-11-26 17:45:29 +0000 UTCOnce again, it's funny how the series went into this kinda stuff early on with the whole power vs type advantage thing and how typing isn't always a guaranteed win, Like with AJ, the exploration of being efficient vs trying your best become a much more focused topic in the 5th arc/4th region. Ash in that needs to learn to not just power of friendship his way through everything.
