As I said last week, I'm gonna scale back the full-page teasers and focus on panel excerpts for a while as I tease the forthcoming Baba Set/Aphrodite comic. You can see this sequence gets heavy into musk/aroma worship.

There's plenty of Jessie/Hypno R34 content out there, so this maybe isn't my most original idea ever, but it was a natural fit for my content wheelhouse and the pose allowed me to play with some effects I'm trying to improve on -- hair, lips, lighting, etc.

The Beginning of the End [TEASER]

Hey gang,

I'm hesitant to keep sharing preview pages of Baba-Set vs Aphrodite after this, as the sex is finally on the verge of starting after a significant build-up. Aphrodite vs Baba-Set [TEASER]

This set of pages might also be titled "Pride comes before the fall." Here we see Aphrodite at the peak of her powers, confronting Baba-Set in all her glory. At this point he's consumed the Golden Apple, so the goddess of love and beauty thinks her victory is assured, taunting and tempting the Egyptian ape-god and getting a noticeable rise out of him.

The Apple of Aphrodite [TEASER]

Here are a few more teaser pages from The Legend of Baba-Set. Here we see Aphrodite's gambit with the Golden Apple (though obviously you don't get any dialogue). You also see Baba moving with his new, more ape-like posture.

My plan is for the apple to essentially be a love potion, or some way for Aphrodite to exert her influence over Baba. The question I am still working out is -- how does she trick Baba into eating it? Is it a symbol of truce? I she telling Baba it will give ...

Baba-Set's Throne Room [TEASER]

Well, here we are. The throne room of the baboon god, last seen in Brides of Baba-Set. The royal chamber has been given a bit of a redesign, as has the god himself. Ultimately I decided to give Baba a sigil on his forehead rather than a crown or more hair. Nothing is final until I release the comic though, so his look may change. Into Baba-Set's Temple [TEASER]

This won't be the most exciting batch of pages to read, but I can't tell you how much fun it is to conceive and render the architecture of the depths of Baba-Set's subterranean temple. Fans of the original Brides of Baba-Set comic will remember the long build-up before seeing the bull-ape himself, which I think establishes the stakes and tension and gives the Egyptian god his due gravitas.

Karen Starr Bimbofied [FINAL APRIL COMM]

Hey folks,

This one took a little longer to complete, but the final commission for April was this single-page comic art featuring a bimbofied Karen Starr (Power Girl's alter ego). This is actually a continuation of a bimbofication pin-up I did back in December for the same commissioner. I want to say thanks to him for his ideas and his patience in letting me work on this.

Baba-Set Designs

Hey gang,

I'm updating the Baba-Set design a bit for my new Aphrodite comic and I wanted to attach some sketches to get your thoughts.

As you can see, I'm embracing a pot-bellied and more ape-like posture for Baba. I've also been inspired by the appearance of the baboons in Gladator 2 to give him a more hairless look. This was an exciting but challenging page to lay out. I'm not as diligent with perspective as I should be, so some of these lines may not be quite right. But hopefully the moment still works.

What color is Aphrodite's hair?

Hey gang,

As I work on the new pages of Legends of Baba-Set, I have been thinking about doing a full-color Aphrodite pin-up. However, that raises the question -- what color is her hair?

Now, in a previous pin-up I had depicted this Aphrodite as blonde/strawberry blonde. However, I could see it going a different direction, especially considering the other cool depictions of Aphrodite that exist in pop culture. So, how do YOU picture my Aphrodite?

A Note about May Commissions

May is almost up on us, so I wanted to get ahead of the question of commissions for next month.
