2024-11-16 22:40:31 +0000 UTCI'm really glad you liked the show. Its one of those older hidden gems that doesn't get a lot of love a recognition despite the fact that it spawned a huge franchise with multiple spinoffs. Its got great humor, fun characters and designs and a splash of action.

2024-11-16 21:35:19 +0000 UTCI love the inclusion of Washu and it looks like we now know where Ryoko got her trolling tendencies from 😊 You are correct about never losing the fun tone, yet its serious enough to have believable stakes while never loosing it goofiness. Also Ryoko never getting to hug Tenchi just seems so on brand for her.

They even did an english dub of the opening song which you can find on youtube (that's not something they bother doing anymore). One of those classic shows that you don't hear about much if you weren't there to see it when it aired.
