One of my favorite parts of this show is simply the overwhelming power of Yujiro. I like the fact that stays consistent.

2024-11-16 14:07:15 +0000 UTCSo I feel the need to bring up that the author made major changes to Yujiro as a person as he went on. He is still an asshole, but he isn’t a monster like before. So I can understand the point Yujiro makes. He reached the pinnacle and grew bored as he was just that much better than everyone else. He peaked and grew bored. It gets muddled though when you remember it’s Yujiro though. I also notice that this is really where Baki accepts his Hanma self. He literally understands Yujiro thoughts, reasons, and fighting style. Though I like that Baki accepts being a Hanma, but isn’t going to go dark side like his father. Also Kozue trying to be the voice of reason, against Baki and Yujiro being meatheads. Though Yujiro accepts Kozue which is kind of funny. (Kozue just accepting it and deciding to stay as support) Finally note that Baki is using everything he has ever learned. From all his fights. From his training. He is using everything technique and mastered move, and I love that it all matters.
