We’ll be visiting thematically inspired settings each month, fleshing them out in beautiful renditions of the subject. It’s time for the big city of Belmond this month!

Here’s the first part.

Set foot on Belmond’s cobblestone pavements and rise to the occasion amongst tall buildings all around you. This developed capital of commerce is a paradise for the rich and wealthy, with shops for any and all needs found in the heart of the center.

An ordinary village before Egal Belmond took charge fourty years ago, investing his hard-earned coinage to advance the city to what it is today. The Belmond Casino, ran by a temperamental grandson of Egal, is a hotspot found at Feathersight Road.

Take the road east to the Shopping District or travel westwards to the train station.
