DAMN! These were really interesting - and infuriating - stories!

Mikeneko has recovered from her attempting to end her own life but weirdly enough, apparently she got into a fight with the person that told everyone that she was in the hospital…..BECAUSE she told everyone that she was in the hospital, ya she completely stable. Mikeneko has also had karma go her way because when she was in a massive group game collab with other content creators and streamers…she was treated basically like a leper. Lastly for her is that in a completely sane way she decided to go be on a small talk show IRL and during that time she decided to announce that (basically) she’s single and ready to mingle. In terms of NijiSanji they were humiliated with that utter flop at Anime Expo and turns out a Japanese fan flown to America to attend it and only the notification after he landed saying on Twitter “I’m already in America and preparing for a concert, what do I do now?”. The small spike you saw in NijiSanji’s stock was them trying to inflate their numbers by buying their own stock (around 28 Million USD if I remember correctly), that apparent buff did not last long and their EN VTubers are STILL bleeding subscribers to this day after it came out that Selen Tatsuki tried ending herself twice and was fired for it. This is what I meant when I said that both stories can be considered horror stories for very different reasons, completely sane people there.

A few comments. One, to hololive's credit in regards to para social relationships and that crowd... It's possible they do instruct talents not to make relationships public, it's unknown, but it's basically common knowledge many of them are. Before rushia was fired, they even released a statement saying hololive doesn't care if their talents are in relationships and will support them regardless. Unfortunately, rushia broke NDA and you can't do that
As a former fan of her hololive identity, it's hard seeing who she really was. I still remember the good times and wish her real self never got public, she was a good entertainer, but man...
One great example of Holo being better than most idol branded groups is that a talent like Tokoyami Towa(my favorite) plays games so freely in competitive gaming with men and nobody cares. A major pro fps player even met her and normally I think boyfriend rumors would start. But she just said if you don't want her to have fun playing with friends, you're not a real fan. The best approach imo.
Two, nijisanji might be okay with their domestic Japan branch. I've seen mixed reports . But they always screw up overseas. They had multiple overseas branches in Korea and India that already got shut down before. I'm critical of their business, but I give the Japan branch respect still.
