Watching Mark kill that POS was fun, but the only problem with it was, how does he get back to his dimension?!

HOW DOES MARK GET BACK?! - Invincible 2x8-1

Comments

Trying not to spoil things but in the comic books he eventually "outgrows" the hero role.

Michael Wagner

It was VERY well executed!!

Agreed... Or he'll come to terms with vanquishing villains of any level is cool! 😁

Once u kill a villain that deserves it, you'd be suprised how fast the bar will lower. If someone almost a bad as that 1st villain shows up and u kill him and then the next villain is almost as evil as the 2nd one, you'll eventually start killing over progressively less reason. I think Mark just needs to firmly set that bar and that'll prevent most issues.

A couple things. In the comic Mark actually did travel to the Marvel Universe and met Spiderman and the rest of the Avengers. He even brought up how their hero names were all pretty cheap. He even had the same conversation with Batman too. Also, that rifle he hit Angstrom with was from Fortnite. That Zombie universe was probably a nod to The Walking Dead. Another series made by Robert Kirkman. Finally, that baren wasteland was probably meant to be a nod to the Mad Max Universe too

This was a brutal scene. Not just with the violence, but with Mark having to deal with the reality that he ended a life. As justified as it is, I can't imagine a normal person dealing with such a thing very well and the way he tries to rationalize it afterwards almost felt too real.

Yeah you lay a finger on my moms or siblings you're not walking out anymore, Mark did what was, unfortunately, necesssary. Also christ, whatever they did to his body to fix him up apparently loaded this guy with blood. Still, i never really found Levy to be hateable, just pitiable. We can't deny he reached a fucked up point, but both his circumstances and his death were both totally on Marks head. He lost control the first time, got reckless and full of himself, refused to listen when Levy tried to tell him there didn't need to be a fight, and Levy chose to nearly kill himself before letting Mark die. Then he made a naive assumption in a fit of rage and killed him, stranding himself in the process. I'd have to disagree on him losing control being good, every time he does it he fucks up in some way, and the one time it would've been beneficial against the Viltrumite he couldn't do it. Marks gotta get a hold on himself and soon or his name being ironic s gonna be his post-mortum legacy
