Baki beat the B-tiers (Prisoners, Doppo, etc.) and is going through the A-tier bracket (Oliva or Kaku Kaiou level fighters), tryna get to that sweet S-tier held by one man. It's actually one of my favourite things about the series since side-character fights are actually interesting, rematches matter (RIP Jr.). Even after Baki beats someone they still get stronger and start fighting other interesting matchups.
