2024-08-29 21:07:49 +0000 UTCRuijerd pretty much nailed it when he said it was probably a misunderstanding between Rudy and Eris. Eris felt she was falling behind Rudy so she left because she felt she needed to in order to get stronger (if she stayed with him she'd just grow dependent on him). But her letter was vague so Rudy thought he was the problem and got stuck in the depression zone for 2 years. They both have inferiority complexes and are bad at communicating. Ruijerd wasn't even there but he knows them both well so he was able to pick up on what was happening pretty much right away.
