Hentai no Sekai - New side quest + bugs fixed

Since I was embarrassed to post another simple bug fix note, I've added a side quest in Riri - Residential Area. I'll be adding more side quests in the future, this is just the first one.

Have a great day!

Hmmm....I play the version attached to this post. I hope that is the latest version. If there is a "special version" then yes, it would be nice if you could share that...Thank you! By the way: I could not find your discord server. Could you send me an invite for that as well, then I can share my thoughts there, which may be more suitable.

That's weird, I'm checking and I don't see any bugs with that, I even tested the game myself recently. Is this a bug that happened to you now? Are you playing the latest version? I don't know if you've heard, but I'm now offering a special edition of the game that gives you the best weapon in the game and 100,000 gold coins as a gift. How about I send you that special edition and all your problems are solved?

One more inconsistency: If after the first visit to the whitches, I go back there again, there is a hallway löeading to some bedrooms. When MC tries to go there, some dialogue pops up (which doesn't make much sense, it is like "Good morning....") and the player is stuck. I cannot move or do anything at this stage. I can only hard-close the game from outside the appliaction and reload. Please have a look at that.

I think, we are getting there: The fighting with Method 1 is annoying. It is OK to have fighting and to challenge the player to level up. All that is fine. But if the monsters pursue MC with Method 1, the game becomes extremely annoying. That is the main problem. Apply Method 2 and it becomes much more agreable. Maybe you can have a look at the balancing of how fast the player progresses through the levelling up. Here, it would be nice to progress faster meaning levelling up after fewer battles fought. These parameters can be adjusted in the game iof you like. But of course this is up to you as the creator of the game. I am just stating my personal preference. When it comes to Barbara: Yes, she can use potions and she can recover in the Inn. But here is the problem: You need to bring enough potions along and early on you don't even have the cash to buy the potions you need to make it through a map. So, while Ruka can recover both HP and MP after each fight, Barbara can regain MP only through potions. She can recover HP thgrough Ruka but MP is a bottle-neck. With lengthy maps this becomes annoying. And this is alos where the Method 2 mentioned above becomes super-annoying as you finish a fight and the next fight starts before you can even use a potion or get Ruka to recover. That makes the experience just stressful and not what I am looking for in an adult game. Finally, going to the Inn or so isn't an option really, as you will start over againi (in most maps). This is also something that I find strange: For example, you work yourself through the forest and defeat all the elves. Then you enter the dungeon and work yourself through the goblins (no goblin princess, please. Either make the goblins more attractive or don't bring them up anymore at all from my point of view. I agree, the other creatures look nice). If after the goblinis you exit the dungeon back to the forest, all elves are active again...Then, there are a few inconsistencies: When finishing the haunted house, MC goes straight back tio the gate at the wall and the gate keeper lets Barbara and Ruka pass. Since, I just worked myself through all the ghosts, I needed to go back to the Inn to get more potions for the steps ahead. So, I go back from the world map north of the wall to the part with the village where I can by the potions. After stocking up on potions, I want to go back through the gate, but it was closed again with some characters telling me I need to defeat a monster nearby. So, I thought I need to go back to the haunted house and take care of the boss there again. I go back to the haunted house - all ghosts alive and well - but the boss is still in the status "defeated". The problem was, that when I am in the room with the boss, I cannot get out of the room anymore, as it tells me that I need to take care of something before leaving but the event where I could do so is not there anymore and I cannot leave the room at all. So, now I am stuck in this room......

There's a channel on my discord for that.

Where do you want me to report bugs?

Frank Baum

Well, the problem with your suggestions is that they completely change the focus of the game. First of all, regarding your complaint, I'll try to make it easier to dodge enemies and reduce the number of battles. Still, fighting is necessary; if you don't do it, you won't level up, defeat bosses, or progress in the game. As for the goblins, well haha, I think most of the monsters I include—the dryads, harpies, yokai, elves—are attractive. I don't think all of them need to be. And goblins are usually not attractive in any video game. Even so, I'm considering adding another boss, a goblin princess. If I do, she'll be more attractive. Regarding enemies going after you, as I developed the game, I implemented two ways to introduce enemies: 1. You get too close, and all the enemies in that area see you until you leave that zone. 2. Each enemy has its own motion sensor and detects you when you get close enough but stops moving if you get far enough away. In the forest with goblins and elves, for example, method 1 applies. In areas like the haunted mansion or snowy mountain, method 2 applies, which is more convenient for the player because not all enemies chase you at once, and you can outsmart them by getting close to lure them and then retreating to make them stay in a spot where they don't bother you. I'll aim to use method 2 more often. Regarding Barbara, due to the curse she suffers from, explained during the main story, she can't feel sexual arousal, so she doesn't participate in sexual encounters—Ruka handles that. If Barbara could have sex too, Ruka wouldn't need to engage with monsters or slaves since logically Barbara could always be with her. Barbara can recover her health when the party is defeated, at inns, or with healing items and spells. Barbara and Ruka's romance grows as the story progresses, but in a romantic, not sexual, sense. I think I addressed everything in your message. Please let me know if you have any doubts or if anything I've explained doesn't sit well with you.

It isn't so much about the fighting. It is just that it is an enormous grind (too many fights required to progress) and then in the forrest and the dungeon there are too many monsters that run up to the MC and attack immediately. Basically, I am not playing, I am getting played and that is annoying. One more thing: The elves in the forrest are attractive. The goblins in the dungeon are ugly. Basically, I am playing an adult RPG where the only adult action for hours of game play is engaging with ugly creatures now and then. That is not attractive! Once, I faced the boss in the dungeon, all was well (the scene following the fight was nice) and the content of the game was good afterwards. But the part with the forrest and the dungeon was not balanced and you should look into the balancing of how many fights are needed before the player can proceed. Also, remember that since it is an adult rpg players like me will look for erotic content. If the only content involves some ugly creatures, it is not sexy. So, here are some suggestions how to make the game more attractive for players that look for erotic content: (1) restrict the radius in which the elves and the goblins can move, such that not all of them come to the MC at once or stay away from the MC. The player can then decide which monsters to fight and where. Maybe take the house of the ghosts as a point of reference. The way you spaced the ghosts appart and their action radius allows the player to chose the path through the ghosts and how and whome to engage rather than being swamped by the ghosts (2) Consider making the goblins optically more appealing if possible. (3) Allow Barbara to also engage in sex with the defeated monsters (not only the companion). That would spice up the erotic side of things by providing more variants. It also would allow Barbara to recharge her points after a fight making the levels more easy to pass if you don't want the hard core fighting experience. (4) Allow Barbara and her companion to have some sexual encounters when they stay at the inns. Why not? Add some spice! Anyway, these are some suggestions that you can do with as you please. Good luck!

Mm maybe this isn't your type of game. I mean, sure, I can shrink enemies down and space them out so it's easier for you to dodge them. But, if you don't fight them, you won't level up and you won't be able to defeat bosses and you won't be able to progress through the game, which will end up being equally frustrating for you. So, yes, I can make it easier to progress through maps without fighting as much, but I don't think that's going to be a satisfactory solution for you.

CapturedLeek27

I started a new game. The map before getting to the city and the map right after the city are swarmed with these monsters. Basically, one fight finishes, the next one starts imediately. This is just silly. Also, I don't want to click through 10 or 12 fights to get through a map. This is just a grind. Try to get a version running with like have the enemies. Like this it is just annoying.

Frank Baum

I'm sorry that was your experience. The problem I suppose is that you've been waiting a while for an update that mainly includes a long dungeon. If you've been away from the game for a while and when you pick it up you have to face a big dungeon, your experience can be more tedious than if you've been playing for several days immersed in the story. I'm afraid you have to take into account that this update consists of the confrontation against the first Great General, she should be more protected and it should be harder to get to her. And at least you have Demoneko to relax a bit, it's not 100% just combat. Is it possible that you got to a very low level and had a hard time eliminating enemies along the way?

CapturedLeek27

Sorry to say, but this version is extremely annoying. It is just one fight after the other. That is not really interesting. You have to balance out the game, reduce the number of enemies and reduce the radius in which they operate. The way it is it is not interesting.
