2024-08-12 13:53:15 +0000 UTCI've seen two translations for what Shibukawa did to Jack when he spit the water at him. The first was shown here where it causes his body to drown itself in its own tears, the other one was that it causes the person hit by the water to believe they are drowning rather than literally drowning. I think it's supposed to have a similar effect to waterboarding. I tend to go with the second as it would explain how Jack recovered so quickly but then again, Baki plays so fast and lose with how the body works that it could go either way.
