2020.Apr.02 | Announcement
Added 2020-04-02 13:59:00 +0000 UTCHello adventurers! We know that right now is a difficult time for everyone. Our heart goes out to each of our patrons and we hope you're all safe! Whether it's through DnD or something else, we hope our maps can assist in bridging our secluded selves together and make these tiring times a little better.
We have a lot to announce this month:
- We reached our $500 goal! We're extremely grateful to have all of you guys along for the ride. Although it doesn't cover everything yet, it's a big leap forward and hopefully soon we can focus on only the Patreon and quit any other job. You guys made this possible! We want to let you know that since we've reached our second goal, for those in the right tier, we'll be adding an additional magic item card to our monthly releases starting this month.
- We want to keep adding stuff to our releases as the Patreon keeps growing. We would really like to know how we're doing and what kind of releases you guys would love to see... we just posted a quick survey that covers this and more. Let’s try our best to reach the $750 goal mark next guys! :-D
- This month we’ll be journeying to the faraway Northern Land of Giants. It’ll be a three-part map series with its region covered with fallen warriors, giant skeletons, and overgrown Celtic ruins. The Giants loved to wage war as much as they loved nature… which didn’t always go together well. Be ready for enormous landmarks and a war-torn battlefield.
We need your input! What would you like to see as the map series for May? Tell us here! And what items do you think would fit this month’s theme? Let us know in this poll.
- Remember the Behold The Tarrasque collaboration project? It was a gigantic project with over twenty creatives in map-makers, composers, item designers, and writers involved.
On May 1st 2020, in collaboration with a record-amount of 30+ creatives in the field, we'll be releasing an amazing geomorph project that will literally and figuratively “bridge isolation”. And, oh... it's all for free!
- We've launched a subreddit where we'll be posting examples of our maps and magic items cards. You can find our subreddit r/EightfoldPaper here.
