2023-11-04 16:00:51 +0000 UTCThe Cana and Gildarts moment is one of my favorites in the show, side characters getting the attention they deserve, and for all the jokes we like to make Gildarts actually setting himself apart from Shanks by being involved with something xD The end of an era has arrived, and it arrived on black wings. Zeref is now the least of their worries, the crew's in an entirely different ballpark now and i don't think theres any play they can make in it

2023-11-04 15:36:45 +0000 UTCZeref is a complicated guy, but as you saw there he was never asleep; the cultists made all of that nonsense up and gaslit others into thinking they could "awaken" Zeref, though I suppose technically its not entirely false since Zeref was supressing his power by valuing life, but with what Grimoire Heart did in his name, he feels nothing but hatred for Hades and the guild and thus his old power has returned to him. However I still do not see him as evil given that he wishes no harm upon Fairy Tail and is openly seeking to punish Hades. He's more akin to an anti-hero than a villain. I remember when I first watched this I was hoping Makarov would not give all of them(The candidates) S-Class for beating Grimoire Heart and thankfully he didn't. It would just cheapen the rank imo, even if beating a dark guild like them was an impressive feat. I also love the Cana-Gildarts moment. Gildarts was being a troll at first, but he instantly knew whothemother was as soon as Cana said she was his kid. And yep Achnologia has arrived.... And to give you an idea: Achnologia: I know what it's like to lose. To feel so desperately that you're right, yet to fail nonetheless. It's frightening. Turns the legs to jelly. I ask you, to what end? Dread it. Run from it. Destiny arrives all the same. And now, it's here. Or should I say, I am.
