2023-11-01 23:17:17 +0000 UTCFuck what The Council did here to Ashoka. I get playing it by Tarkin's demands, but all the same, they should stand by someone they know would never do this... They've become complacent and are so opposed to The Dark Side that they cannot even sense it when it's literally laughing in their faces. Anakin is the only one making sense in all of this. I will also praise Obi, since he clearly knew Ashoka was innocent. I knew who the culprit was based on I think it was 2 or 3 episodes ago where Ashoka and the one who framed her had a conversation after the funeral for the 5 Jedi. It was clear they had doubts about their actions, less so their motives, but they did feel bad for the lives they took. Ashoka walking out on the order was the most self-respective decision she could have made there. The Order was against her almost out the gate.

Explaining how the Jedi is falling for the Dark Side’s trap and then the next frame being Palpatine is genius foreshadowing because we all know how he got into power: manipulation. Such great work. Best Star Wars project in my books
