Yeah even on the phone before her "I I I I" I could feel her just wanting the money and not telling or caring about Jessie with Walt wanting him to get clean and live. It would prevent her from getting more.

No one would be the wiser. The interesting part is that you can see him struggling with the decision, and in reality who really wouldn't think about letting it happen if you were in the same position, even if for a brief moment? I couldn't in good conscience let her die myself, but I'd be lying if I said I wouldn't have considered it for a moment lol then again, if I didn't want to get caught for some serious shit she was trying to blackmail me with, and I didn't think her death would link me in any way, my conscience might not care either. I like Breaking Bad for the simple fact it makes you think about it as if you were in the same situation at times. I'm also not a fan of the way Jane was all over Jesse's money as if it were also hers. I know she got it from Walter for Jesse via blackmail, but as soon as they got it, it became "I can do anything" "I can be anyone" "I can be anything". I know money can offer a lot especially to someone who has never had it, but bitch that's Jesse's money lol even if he didn't technically earn it because he was high off his ass at the time

With a BiL in the DiA there is not way that Walt will not fall too the blackmail like he does. He stripped naked in a mall and skipped the birth of his daughter to keep the secret. He don't even want rumours off his drug deals too surfice.

Also, it's interesting to think that if Walt knew he had just talked to Jane's dad, do you think he saves Jane instead?

Even if she made good on her word to call the police, it'd be an upstanding school teacher with no criminal records vs a known junkie, who has failed at rehab. walter would know to hide the money somewhere and he'd have Saul in his corner. On top of that, Jesse would be in the crosshairs and he has an extensive record of criminal behavior AND this would probably motivate her father enough to throw all the heat at Jesse. It just raises too many questions and creates too much collateral that her threat is a bluff at best. Walter was both mortified at allowing her to suffocate and also a bit disturbed by his passiveness, but he knew in the long run, it was saving Jesse. EVEN THOUGH, both agreed to just one more hit before going sober. Janes death is really sad for all parties involved.

Bryan Cranston said once in an interview that he got so into the scene, that he actually visualized his own daughter in Jane's place and had to step away for a bit to recover before he was able to complete it.

2023-10-13 19:00:36 +0000 UTCAlso I'm not sure how I feel about Jane's death, cause on the 1 hand, she didn't deserve to die, but on the other, she really was a bane to Jesse's life, and like I know they just said they would get clean and all that, but from personal experience it usually never happens, my cousin said that ALL the time, yet he never did up to the day he died from an overdose, so for me I just never trust that they'll actually get clean unless someone forces them, if I was her dad I would have just gone through with calling the cops.
