After all, if he were willing to betray King Ethelred; then he certainly would've turned on Canute the first chance he got.

2023-09-14 15:48:08 +0000 UTCI'd say this episode definitely shows how Canute is going down the dark path of blood. Willing to sacrifice anything or anyone for the sake of his grand goal of ruling over a Kingdom. Kind of reminds me of another feminine-looking douche from Berserk.
